-WHERE- Blue Ridge, Goose Lake, Fort Assiniboine

-DETAILS- Woodlands County staff will pick up general household refuse, empty, appliances, carpentry remnants, unused wood products, discarded automobile parts and unwanted miscellaneous material within the hamlets. Simply place the items to be removed in you normal refuse pickup area during those days.

-WHERE- Fox Creek, Whitecourt, Valleyview and Grande Prairie

-DETAILS- Are you a non-profit in Fox Creek, Whitecourt, Valleyview and Grande  Prairie areas with a great program in need of support? Shell Canada is launching a Community Grants Program in your area. Local non-profits are eligible to apply. Submissions will be accepted until May 18th so get you application in today. -DETAILS- Yard Waste Collection Blitz, a week where the town will collect organic yard materials from your curbside. Please use orange, biodegradable or paper bags.


-WHAT-  4th Annual ATV Meet & Greet

-WHERE-  Windfall Townsite

-WHEN- June 2nd 9am to 9pm

-DETAILS- This is an event for non members and club members to showcase our local ATV club. Group non-sanctioned rides, Free camping all weekend. Free BBQ for members, non members will have a $5.00 cash only fee. Or if you bring two items for food bank donation, dinner is free. Door prizes for members only. -DETAILS- Join the Whitecourt Communities in Bloom Committee in this adult program that will provide information and a relaxed atmosphere for community members to chat about pollinator gardens over coffee/tea and treats. Check out the plantings from the children’s pollinator garden program, walk away with some new gardening friends and perhaps get a free butterfly house or some gardening gloves!
