-WHERE-  Peers Multiplex, 5114 51st St, Yellowhead County

-DETAILS- Acreage owners, agricultural operators, hobby farmer, honey producers, hunter, fishers, campers, hikers and other recreationalists are invited to join a discussion on how to prevent human-wildlife conflict. Understanding bears, cougars and other wildlife, Techniques and tools to reduce the risk, what to do in an encounter, learn about bear-proof bins/electric fences/other deterrents and hands-on bear spray demo. -DETAILS- The Whitecourt FVI is pleased to host the screening of The Mask You Live In, a 2015 Sundance Film Festival Premiere. The documentary follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating the narrow definition of masculinity. The personal narratives of young boys and men while featuring experts in neuroscience, psychology, sociology, sports, education, and media, further explore how gender stereotypes are interconnected with race, class, and circumstance. -DETAILS- Night Out in Whitecourt is a free adult only monthly event that brings people together. Join the Darts Night with the Whitecourt Darts League 5th annual Darts Fundraiser for the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Learn the way of the game take part in a fun tournament, enjoy door prizes, draws and have a fun night out.
